TAYLOR SOLOMON (HIP HOP & CONTEMP)
Taylor will be training MANY of our Hip hop students this season (tiny and not)! Hailing from Peace, Love, Hip Hop…Taylor is the ultimate lover of hip hop and she is the ultimate hype-wo-man. Known for her energetic and fun classes, you can expect dope music, strong and powerful movement, and a sprinkle of grooves.

ERICA CAPDEVILA (INSTRUCTOR)
Erica Cap is our youth technician to get our lil’ labberinas and first year movers lookin’ right and feeling GREAT in all genres! Her pieces at the end of the year are always so clean, thoughtful and show-stopping! She brings the BEST out in your dancer on (and off) the stage.

JONATHAN SINGLETON (BREAKDANCE)
Jonathan is ONE AWESOME DUDE! He’s a happy, friendly and extremely knowledgable breakdance teacher (and overall wonderful human). He’ll get your dancer bustin’ CRAZY moves in no time. You can see him dancing in Marion Square with DOA crew from time to time, too.

MEGAN PICKETT
Hailing from the Coquettes in Columbia, SC, Megan is thrilled to join the lab family in so many capacities! You will find her tappin’ like crazy, throwing some ballet and hangin out at the front desk to greet you everyday!!

KAYLA THOMAS (pointe)
Kayla began her dance training at the age of two in the Chicago area, cultivating a strong foundation in ballet, contemporary, jazz, modern, and hip hop. She pursued formal dance studies at the University of Iowa and Columbia College Chicago, and continued her professional development through training programs at esteemed institutions such as the Joffrey Ballet and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago.
Kayla’s performance career includes her time as a company member with Culture Shock Chicago, where she had the opportunity to perform throughout the United States and Canada. Now based in Charleston, she shares her expertise and passion for dance as an instructor at local studios while performing as a company member with the professional dance company Collectives SC, inspiring the next generation of dancers both in the classroom and on stage.
