Many of her students have gone on to train in pre-professional programs and mentorships with tap masters including Savion Glover, Dianne Walker, Anthony Morigerato, and Derick Grant, while others have become tap teachers themselves.
Jillian is the Co-Founder and Artistic Director of "Blended Rhythms," an annual community-wide tap intensive dedicated to bringing together dancers of all ages and backgrounds.
LAURA BLAND (ADV TRACK DIRECTOR + COSTUME MAGICIAN)
Laura Bland is the amazing Director of RAT KING and will taking the throne as our Advanced Track Director this season! She will also be setting some killer choreo on our Lab Co movers. She’s beyond stoked to work with everyone!!! She will also be fronting the line for our costuming for Lab Co!
TAYLOR SOLOMON (COMP + ATA DIRECTOR & CHOREOGRAPHER)
Taylor is our incredible competition director and the queen of our ATA program! Not only will she be training and setting competition and concert work for our company, she will be your GO TO lady at competitions prepping our dancers for the stage!
Hailing from Peace, Love, Hip Hop…Taylor is known as the ultimate lover of hip hop; however, have you seen her contemporary jazz? She is FIERCE! and she is also the ultimate hype-man. Known for her energetic and fun classes, you can expect dope music, strong and powerful movement, and a sprinkle of grooves.
MEGAN PICKETT (MINI COMP DIRECTOR & CHOREOGRAPHER)
Excited to bring Megan into the fold this season as our Mini Comp and Advanced Junior director and one of our amazing classical educators in contemporary, jazz and tap! Her passion and care for her artistry and instruction are remarkable. You will also see her at the front desk from time to time :). AND she will continue working closely with the Performance track dancers for Rat King and beyond.
MIGUEL ROBINSON (REHEARSAL DIRECTOR & CHOREOGRAPHER)
Miguel is joining us for season 11 as one of our rehearsal directors setting competition and concert work on our COMP & ADV TRACK CO, as well as training all upper level Hip Hop and Jazz! This man’s resume is unbelievable. His choreography is truly something to behold. Dancing on tour with artists like Mariah Carey has left him with SO much wisdom to share with LAB CO. His movement is challenging, fierce, fast-paced and eye quenching! His choreography has been described among the dancers as the most satisfying to execute because of how hard they have to work to make it streamlined and rockin'. You will probably never work harder than you do in a Miguel class or piece!
AMANDA EVANS (BALLET DIRECTOR)
Amanda has been promoted to our legit BALLET DIRECTOR! She will be training and overseeing ALL of our LAB MOVERS in Ballet this season. We are so happy to have Amanda more full time!
A bit about her - Amanda Christison (newly wed!) is a classically trained ballet dancer from Lewisville, Texas. CAMILLE CABRERA (GUEST CHOREOGRAPHER + GUEST INSTRUCTOR)
As many of you know, Ms. Camille is taking an exciting next step in her journey as she begins Nursing School! While we couldn't bear to say goodbye, we're thrilled that she'll still be a part of the Dance Lab family as a guest choreographer this season, creating beautiful new works and setting select solos on some of our dancers.
Camille is the embodiment of grace, elegance, strength, and power. Trained at Dale Lam in Columbia, she has been an incredible artist, mentor, and inspiration to our Lab Co dancers, leaving a lasting impact both in and out of the studio.
Although her nursing schedule will keep her busy, she'll also be joining us at as many competitions as she can to continue cheering on and supporting our dancers. We are so proud of this next chapter and can't wait to watch her thrive—both in the studio and beyond.
